Another reason I haven't been blogging as much is because my beautiful Mac (circa '08) died. I've been using my phone or Kaylee's computer to email, facebook and attempt to blog, but yesterday I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new one. As much as I hated spending that much money (I was on the verge of puking all over the place and had the nervous sweats), it felt kind of amazing knowing I was an adult and could make this purchase myself, without asking my parents for help. Small steps to becoming a grown up, ladies and gentlemen.
Not only has my blog been absent, but my favorite blogs have been neglected, and here's what I've had waiting for me on my bloglovin. 236 blogs to read today, don't expect me to get out of my pj's anytime soon.
My theatre family had a family breakfast last Friday, and I went over to my friends house to help prep. I made vegan pancakes, and cut up the fruit for the fruit salad. It was a feast, and one of the best mornings I've ever had, being surrounded by delicious food and the people I adore.
Eggs and bacon were served, but I had vegan pancakes, topped with peanut butter, fruit salad, a dollop of coconut yogurt and drowned in maple syrup. With a gallon of black coffee on the side. I've never eaten better...
And this is my beautiful theatre family, who have now moved onto other projects since the show closed on Sunday. I miss them terribly, but they're all working on amazing upcoming projects and I can't wait to follow their careers.
Food lately has been pretty boring. Because I've been so busy, I've been eating out at restaurants a lot, and buying pre-made salads. Now that I'm back to one job, I've been cooking a bit more, but nothing Iron Chef worthy.
September 1st came around, and I busted out the pumpkin. Breakfast lately has been pumpkin blueberry oatmeal, slathered in almond butter and lots and lots of coffee.
After our run, Kaylee wanted to take adorable pictures together, because I've been so busy that we haven't spent enough time being gross and adorable. She also bought me canned pumpkin last week because the weather reminded her of fall and she knows how much I love fall and pumpkin. Guys, I think I'm in love.
Hopefully now that things have died down, I can get back to running, making healthy foods, and blogging regularly! Thank you for reading, and sticking with me through all the craziness!
What have you been up to lately? Training for a half? Eating pumpkin?
